Shipping tools.
Calculate, compare & prepare.
Calculate packed volume and weight, then build a shortlist of transport options. These planning tools explain the inputs behind a useful freight quote.
CBM & dimensional weight calculator
Add one row for each group of identical packages. Enter the weight of one packed unit, not the group's combined weight. For pallets, include the pallet in the dimensions and weight.
Your planning figures
These are mathematical planning figures, not a freight quote. Carrier measurements, rounding, minimum charges, special handling and the selected product may change billable weight. CBM alone does not confirm how packages fit inside a container.
How the calculation works
Centimetres × centimetres × centimetres ÷ 1,000,000 gives cubic metres. The same volume in cubic centimetres divided by the selected divisor gives volumetric kilograms. The calculator compares gross and volumetric weight for each piece, applies the optional weight rounding, then multiplies by quantity and adds the groups.
Inches are converted using 2.54 cm per inch; pounds use 0.45359237 kg per pound. The divisor always remains in cm³/kg. Dimension rounding, when selected, is applied after conversion and before volumetric weight; the displayed packed CBM uses measured dimensions without rounding.
Example: two 60 × 40 × 40 cm cartons at 12 kg each and one 30 × 30 × 30 cm carton at 15 kg total 0.219 m³ and 39 kg gross. With divisor 5,000 and no rounding, per-piece comparisons total 53.4 kg; a whole-shipment comparison gives 43.8 kg. Confirm which rule applies to the actual service.

Start with packaging, timing and corridor availability. The result explains what to compare next; it does not confirm routing, price, cargo acceptance or a delivery date.
Your comparison shortlist
To turn this shortlist into a transport plan, provide the origin and destination postcodes, each package's measurements and weight, product facts, cargo-ready date, required arrival date and final delivery conditions.
