Supplier pickup
We coordinate the collection address, supplier contact, appointment, packed cargo and loading access. Tell us whether the factory can load the vehicle and whether manual handling or a particular vehicle is required.
VelFreight collects goods from suppliers across all cities in China and brings separate orders into an agreed consolidation plan. We coordinate pickup, short-haul trucking, warehouse receipt, sorting, labels and onward international shipping around your cargo-ready dates.
Factories, trading companies and ecommerce sellers often buy from several locations but need the goods to arrive together. We organise the origin work so each supplier knows where, when and how to hand over the order. A consolidation can combine compatible goods for an agreed departure or keep urgent and later orders in separate movements.
We own a truck fleet and can arrange pickup across all cities in China. The vehicle, collection coverage, loading arrangements and operating party for each leg are confirmed for the route. We do not treat every supplier address as suitable for the same truck or pickup appointment.
We coordinate the collection address, supplier contact, appointment, packed cargo and loading access. Tell us whether the factory can load the vehicle and whether manual handling or a particular vehicle is required.
We record arrivals against your supplier and order references, check package counts and visible condition, and provide photographs and receiving feedback. Differences are identified before the combined shipment is released.
We can sort by order or destination, check and apply your approved labels, hold goods temporarily and prepare separate release groups. Storage arrangements and handling charges are agreed for the actual cargo.
We bring the final shipping-unit count, measurements, packing records and dispatch instructions together for express, ocean, air or an available rail route. Export documents must still accurately identify the goods and relevant trading parties.
Hangzhou, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Guangzhou are five example pickup cities. We also arrange collections in all other Chinese cities, with the route and operating details confirmed for your exact address and cargo.
| Example city | A pickup or handover to plan | Confirm for the actual address |
|---|---|---|
| Hangzhou | Collect sample cartons, ecommerce orders or commercial stock from a supplier and connect them to the agreed consolidation or export plan. | Supplier location, ready date, package list, collection appointment and the required onward gateway. |
| Shanghai | Coordinate factory or warehouse pickup with the selected parcel, air or ocean handover; a port connection is planned only when included in the booking. | Exact loading address, receiving reference, vehicle access, loading equipment and any applicable handover deadline. |
| Ningbo | Collect cartons, pallets or crates and arrange the agreed warehouse or ocean-export connection for the shipment. | Finished cargo measurements, supplier loading conditions, receiving appointment and the confirmed warehouse or port handover. |
| Shenzhen | Bring one supplier order or several approved collection stops into a consolidated dispatch or an agreed direct transport handover. | Each collection address, contact and ready time, order identifiers, special contents and permission to combine the goods. |
| Guangzhou | Arrange supplier pickup, short-haul transfer or a warehouse handover before the selected international service. | Loading and unloading arrangements, package counts, vehicle needs, route and receiving instructions. |
These five cities illustrate the enquiry details we need; they do not limit our nationwide pickup coverage or identify fixed company depots. For every city, the specific address, available vehicle, appointment, loading conditions and pickup charge are confirmed for the shipment.
| Decision | What we need to know | How it affects the plan |
|---|---|---|
| Ready dates | The earliest firm release date for every supplier and your latest acceptable arrival. | Holding an early order may add storage or delay it; an urgent subset may need a separate departure. |
| Cargo compatibility | Product descriptions, batteries, liquids, powders, fragility, weight and stacking limits. | Acceptance, packaging and segregation requirements can prevent goods from sharing the same movement. |
| Order identification | Supplier names, purchase-order references, carton marks and package lists. | Clear identifiers let us reconcile arrivals and preserve order-level traceability after sorting or repacking. |
| Final receiving instructions | Destination, postcode, importer details, warehouse appointment or ecommerce labels. | The destination requirements guide grouping, labels, final packaging and delivery scope. |
| Complete cost | Supplier pickup, receiving, storage, sorting, packing and international transport. | We compare the full agreed scope; fewer dispatches alone do not establish a lower delivered cost. |
A carton, pallet or crate can change size and gross weight after consolidation or reinforcement. We use the finished shipping units for the final transport assessment. The CBM and dimensional-weight calculator can help you prepare initial measurements; carrier measurement and billing rules still apply.
| Record | Please include | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier and collection point | Full address, postcode, contact name, telephone, opening hours and appointment requirements. | A city name alone does not establish access, collection time or cost. |
| Ready goods | Order reference, product description, carton or pallet count, gross weight and packed dimensions. | The vehicle and handling plan depend on actual shipping units. |
| Loading conditions | Loading dock, forklift availability, floor level, access restrictions and need for manual labour. | Equipment and personnel must be arranged before the truck arrives. |
| Special characteristics | Fragile or non-stackable goods, batteries, liquids, powders or heavy and irregular pieces. | Acceptance and the warehouse handling plan must be reviewed in advance. |
| Release instructions | Destination, transport preference, required arrival, trade term, labels and whether part shipments are allowed. | We need explicit instructions for what can ship together and what must wait. |
Do not dispatch special cargo to a receiving location before acceptance and the relevant documentation have been confirmed. See our battery and special-cargo review for the facts needed with the enquiry.
Our quotation lists the main service items and explains potential additional charges before the work is confirmed. These may include extra collection stops, waiting time, manual loading, oversized units, storage beyond an agreed period, relabelling, repacking or a revised delivery instruction. Charges and approvals follow the quotation and agreed terms.
Receiving counts and photographs document what we can see at handover. They are not a product-function test or a guarantee of contents inside sealed packaging. If you require item-level counting or another inspection task, describe the exact scope before booking. Storage free time, release rules and any insurance arrangements also need to be agreed.
Yes. We support pickup across all cities in China and can coordinate several suppliers. Send all addresses and ready dates so we can confirm coverage, receiving arrangements, vehicle needs and the cost of each leg.
Temporary storage can form part of the plan. Available space, cargo suitability, the expected holding period, free time and storage rates must be confirmed before delivery to the warehouse.
We can plan separate release groups when the route and documentation allow. Tell us which items are urgent; we will explain the extra handling, documentation and transport charges before you decide.
Send the supplier list, cargo-ready dates, products, package measurements, destination and required arrival. Include your order references and tell us whether the goods should leave together or in agreed groups.
Our business team receives enquiries by email and WhatsApp 24/7. We confirm the proposed work, charges, exclusions and next action for your shipment. Our website brief tool prepares a checklist in your browser; it does not send an enquiry.
